Creditable Season for Gordon District Cricket Club

The 2010-11 cricket season is over and Gordon finished a very creditable 4th in the Club Championship with the 6th Grade winning the Metropolitan Cup and 2nd and 4th Grades both runner up in their competitions. Add to that the 5th Grade reached the Semi Final and the AW Green Shield team played the Qualifying Final. Also 1st Grade improved their position from fourteenth before Christmas to finish eighth.

It takes many things to run a cricket club and your sponsorship allowed us to have the high level of coaching, pre-season training, indoor net practice and equipment to keep us competitive in the Grade and under age Shield competitions. "
